Just now there are alot of mothers who are
bringing the kiddies to the studio for Christmas
photographs — and incidentally they are hav-
ing their own portrait made at the same time.

An Open Winter? "
Old timers say that we are in for
more open broken weather as there
was 'considerable rain, thunder and
lightning, on Friday and the air was
very warm all day, with occasional
showers. Saturday it- ;rainedconsid-
erable but in the afternoon got colder.
Sunday was an- ideal day for this time
of the year.

"The Shepherd of the Hills" a strik-
ing Film Drama with special music.
Harold Bell Wright, clings' to the tunes
of yesterday in arranging the musical
accomplishments. "The Shepherd 01
the Hills", a love romance of gripping
intensity in which all the famous char-
acters of Mr. Wright's delightful story.
are portrayed with remarkable fidelity
to life. This production played Massey
Hall, Toronto, Christmas and New
Year's week to capacity business• at a
dollar and a half top prices. Harold
Bell Wright.has defied all standard of
motion picture production. He has
transferred to the screen the page of
his famous novel, Chapter by chapter
exactly as they are in story form. 'it is
more than a master piece it is an In-
spiration. 'The Shepherd or the Hills"
production, highly attractive and en-
tertaining. Some of the thrills it may
be realized in the scene picturing the
night ride down the mountain side
during a heavy rain -storm, when the
heroine succeeded in saving the good
old shepherd from the clutches of the
Lawless Wash Gibbs Gang of Raiders.
This attraction will be shown in Clin-
ton's town ,hall, one night, Thursday,
December 1st, under the auspices of
the Girls' Auxilixary, at popular prices,
25c and 50c. Millions have seen the
stage play, millions have read the book
millions will see the picture. Until you
have seen this wonder picture, you can
not realize how far this newest of the
art has progressed. Shown here' with
special music. ,

As Clothes' are to the Body,
so are Wall Papers to the Home
Few people .can ,afford to be badly dressed; And
'few people can afford to live with old or in-
-harmonious wall papers.
They affect the spirits. They decrease self-
confaderice, . They reduce morale. They are
unhealthy for mind and body.
Harmonious Wall Papers are a Tonic.. They
influence the whole atmosphere of the house..
If you have in view a change in the atmosphere
of your home we invite inspection of our stock
and prices.
