On motion of Councillors Nediger
and Langford. Council granted 015.00
to the Huron Co, Children's Md Society
On notion of {Councillors Nediger
and Paisley, the Safety League letter was
fyled. l -
On motion -of Councillors Cooper
and Langford, the Mayor and Clerk
were instructed to forward a resolution
to the proper authoriti:s in regards to
the electrifying of the L. 11. & 13, rail-
way.
Councillor Paisley objected to the
resolution as the Municipality would
have to pay tate expense of preparing
the estimates. Councillor Nediger said
he war opposed at present to the elect-
rifyinrj Ise railway but was in favor of
finding out the cost of same.
'Councillor Paisley called for the
yeas and nays and motion was carried
all voting for the motion except Coun-
cillor Paisley.
Reeve Miller had no report to make
for Streets, and on motion of Council•
tors Cooper and Johnson, the Clerk
was instructed to find out cost of Tar -
via for 1924.

Mr. Sabine on the left side of the stom-

the cash out of the register and put it

When Stokes telephoned into the
police, Plainclothesmen Stevens and
Glasscock, Patrol Sergt. Rumble and
Acting -Detectives Carter and Hicks,
of Markham and London street police
station rushed to the scene in a police
motor, ,while Detective-Sergt. Arthur
Levitt and Frank Hazelwood, from
police headquarters arrived a few min-
utes later and took charge.

for a number of years a well-known
resident of Clinton.

Councillor Johnson in making amend-
ment stated that he had proof that Mr,

Councillors Cooper and Johnson had

The vote was taken and the amend-
ment was carried on the following votes
