Little Miss Susie returned with them to take a course of medical treatment. Mr, W. U. The corn roast that was held on Foote's flats on Monday night was a decided success. Although the day was wet and very unpromising it turned out nice at night and there was a good crowd and they had an old time roast. The Epworth League of the Varna Methodist church expect an address from Mr. Sauvage of Seaforth, presi- dent of the District League. A good attendance is expected. We welcome Rev. Mr. Foster back to Varna again after his two week's holidays, which he spent near Park- hill. 1VIr. Whiteing of Parkhill is visit- ing with his daughter, Mrs. (Rev,) Foster.
