Mr. J. McClnichey's barn was struck
by lightning oil Saturday and com-
pletely destroyed, with all the sea-,
son's crop, a, gasoline engine and
some; other implements. They had
just driven into the barn with a loan
as the bolt struck, and the fire spread
so .quickly that it was diffiieult to
save the team, Several motor loads
of men from here and all the, neigh-
bor•were soon on the scene, and the
live. stock was saved, also' the drive
shed.• We understand there is very
little insurance and Mr. Meelinchey's
loss ;will be heavy.
