event yesterday when their youngest
daughter, Tva Joy, was united in mar-
riage `to Harvey B. Snyder, son: of
Mr. ;and Mrs., L. B. .Snyder of Col-
borne township, the Rev. H, J. Fair

In the presence of the. immediate
families of both Parties the ceremony
was performed beneath an evergreen
arch intertwined with June blossoms,
which Was erected on the spacious
lawn.
Miss T;dna'Wise, the bride's rr1
friend, rendered Lohengrin's bridal
chorus which announced thb arrival'
of the bridal, party' as they . took
their : places,; and played very softly
throughout the ceremony, •
The bride; who was given in mar-
riage byher father, wore a girl-
ish frock of ivory canton crepe with
pearl ornaments and conventional veil
of tulle caught up with orange blos-
soms, seztt to herby her aunt direct
from California. Shd carried : a
-shower bouquet of roses and lily -of-
the -valley. She was attended by.
Seer little nephews; . Orval Lobb and
Dickie Wilson, aged three, wearing
suits of brown velvet in Fauntleroy
style, who held satin streamers from
the 'arch, forming an 'aisle through
which the bridal party. entered. Little
Miss Joy. Lobb, niece of the bride,
aged four, wearing a frilly, frock+ of
honeydew Silk .pleated -in blue, was a•
dainty flower' girl throwing : fIower
petals in the pathway' as she 'prece-
ded the :bride.
Miss Geneva Costella of Redlands,
California, :cousin of the bride, was
bridesmaid. She wore a jade green
contan crepe dress and poke shape hat,
in white canton and corsage of pink
snapdYagou. Mr. Stanley Snyder,
brother of, the groom, acted as
groomsman. •

afternoon train going south to spend
a short honeymoon, the bride travell-
ing in a suit of navy tricotme with
Oriental :bodice in grey with Shoes:
and poke shaped canton hat in
the salve shades of grey. On their
return they willreside at their new
home on the Maitland concession,
Colborne township.
