Holmesvflle
A most pleasant evening was held
on Friday evening, December 1st,
under the auspices of the Epworth
,League.- The ,gathering took the
form of: an "Old Folks At Home."
The basement of the church Was
tastefully decorated in: "a homelike
.fashion; tag carnets, rocking chairs,
sofas, old pictures, -and albums being
prominent. A very pleasant pro-
gramme was given, solos, duets,` rec-
itations, and speeches, making up an
evening of general good' time, both
for old' and young. After the pro_
gramme lunch was served and 'the
entire eontpany ,then sting "male
Lange Syne" and the meeting dis
per;sed.
