been laid up with an attack of blood-

time of writing his condition is not
improving. Two doctors were in
consultation yesterday and all that

with something of a shock that the
word was 'received Friday that Miss
Sadie Mahaft'y.had passed away early

most robust .health for some years.

ago in order to conserve her health,
but she had been about right along,
carne back to he?' old position for a

onto only a few weeks ago and wenn
herself to the doctor's office the Sat_
tirday previous ,to her death. The
