a result of action taken by the com-
mittee on Young People's Work of
the Huron Presbytery, the executive
of the school were asked to supply
copies ofthe program to Presby-
terian ministers of the -county of
Huron who would commend the

will no doubt conduce to an increased
registration this year and, should
conditions warrant, to reorganiza-
tion on a' union basis. •

CELEBRATION
Tho Jubilee Garden Party held on
July 5th at the residence of Mr. J.
R. Middleton under the auspices of
St. James,church, Middleton, .to cele-
brate the fiftieth ` anniversary of,.
the, building of the church was a de
tided "success,'. It was largely at-
tended, a large number coming from
Clinton and surroiuiding country.
Also a few were present from God -
crick, Nile, BlySth and Colborne, The
evening was all that could be desired
the supper ;bountiful, and the orelies-
tra entertained in its usual yowl, .
style. Rev, " R.' C. Pitts of Hay-
field gave a pleasing :address con-
trasting a few of the conditions of
half a century ago with the present
day. ,The receipts of,the evening
were in the neighborhood of $180.
