MONDAY'S ENTERTAINMENT.
harmony Class of Auburn ,Mdth-
odist Sunday school came down and
presented the .little playlet, "An
Old -Fashioned Mother," in the town
hall on Monday evening. The en-
tertainmint was given under' the
auspices of the Ontario street church
Epworth League. There -was a
good turnout to witness the - per-
formance and. the young people :ae-
quitted 'themselves very well. The

play ,was .centered :about- a humb e
farm home, and a mother,who had
endeavored to. bring' up. her children
in the way they should go. -'One ,by
one they left her and, owing irpart
at least to having been' too` indul-
gent, she was ,in bad' straits finan-
cially when, just in the nick of time,
the black sheep of the family re-
turned, having won through to pros-
perity, and everything ended up well,
The play' was given • in Auburn a
week' or so ago.

The marriage took place at St.
Joseph's church on Tuesday morning
of Margaret Eulala, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Dominic Flynn of Huliet,
and John Joseph Curran of Clarkson.
The Rev. Father James Clare of St.
Catharines, cousin of the bridegroom,
performed the ceremony.
The bride looked lovely in a,hand-
some frock of jade green crepend
large black bat. She carried Amer-
ican beauty roses. -
Miss Loretta Flynn, sister of the
bride, was ,maid of honour :and was
prettily gowned in cannon crepe,
wore a black hat and carried pink
roses, and. Miss Clarice Day of Te-
lento, who was bridesmaid, wore a
grey frock and hat and carried sweet
