CLARK—BENNETT
The home of Mr. and. Mrs. C. R.
Bennett, Arcola, was the scene of a
pretty wedding on Wednesday, June
4th, when Matilda, their only (laugh•
tr, became the bride ofGoldwyn
Clark, son of the late Mr. J. W.
Clark and Mrs. iClark, Weylburn.
Rev. W. H. Black officiated. The
attendants. were Muss Grace Clark
and Mr. Archie lClark, Weybura,
sister and brother of tihe groom.
To the strains of ,the wedding
march, played by Mrs!. Black, the
bride entered the living room with
her father where the ceremony took
1
place under a bowery of lilacs.
The bride was lovely in a gown
of aqua blue crepe with navy acces-
sories, Her corsage of tea roses
completed her •cotunie. Spring
blossoms and flowering plants gram
ed the rooms and the bride's table
was centered with a three tiered
wedding cake surrounded by tulle
and tall pink tapers. The damask
used was a wedding gilt to the
bride's mother forty years ago.
The happy couple left by motor
for points west enroute to Mellort
where they will reside.
—Moose -Mountain Star- Standard
Note—Tire damask spoken of was
a gift from Rev. Roes, D.D., Presby.
ternian minister in Brussels at that
time, pastor of the 'bride's mother
