No sooner had we landed there when a 'banker came and took us home with him for supper and evening. They were a very nice young couple, just ,married one year. We .spent two evenings and two suppers at their 'place. We were all through Edinburgi castle. The shrine in the castle is a memorial to all soldiers and is the only one of its kind in the world. &t.
