George Oxtoby who passed away
September 29tH, she had been 10
failing health for several months,
her maiden name was Eiza Ellen
Lake, daughter of the late Wm.
and Elizabeth Lake, deceased •was
born in Grey township on Novembe•
4th, 1367. She was married on
January 29th, 1890, to her bereft
husband George Oxtoby, They
had just celebrated their golden
wedding last January, They lived
in Grey township for several years:,
then moving to Innistail, Alta., ant
{fume years ago they moved to B.C.
Beside her sorrowing husband there
are ewe sons and two daughters
(Bey and Milieu) Innistail; Pearl
(Mrs. Peterson) Red Deer; Mable
(Mrs. Holt); three brothers and
three sisters also survive: Isaac
Lake of Grey township; Levi Incl
Justus of Hamilton; Mrs. Douglas,
of Neepanva, Man.; and Mrs. John
King and Mrs. Ralph, Ethel She
was buried in the family plot at
Innistail, Alta.
The first snow fall of the season -
