We received a, letter from a sister in London, and here is some of the contents:— Sep. 30, 1940 'My Dear Brother & Sister; I am afraid I have put off writing to you for a long time, but really in these dreadful times it is hard to make up your mind to write letters, and especially when nothing is the same from day to day, and if you write a. letter that takes ' time to reach its destination everything you say may be totally; different before it arrives. We often think about you all the same, and wish we could only be where you are.
