'My Dear Brother & Sister;
I am afraid I have put off writing
to you for a long time, but really in
these dreadful times it is hard to
make up your mind to write letters,
and especially when nothing is the
same from day to day, and if you
write a. letter that takes ' time to
reach its destination everything you
say may be totally; different before it
arrives. We often think about you
all the same, and wish we could only
be where you are. The cousins at
Drumheller have written offering u
all a home with them for duration,
but such a step needs too mach of
an upheaval to be considered, still
We do appreciate their kindness and
thought more, Man we can say. So
far we have been kept safe, and still
all have our homes intact, although
we are in the midst of most appal-
