residence, Alexandra street,

The spring flood did some damage
to the grounds. It also removes' the
wire and loosened the poles that the
wire was on. The committee is
hoping a godly number will join;
up this season when the fees are
so low.

express a feeling, which no doubt
everyone has at this time of year,
when. our surroundings change from
the covering of deep snow to a
world of :beautiful coloring and
more cheerful aspect made so by
the songs' of the birds• and appear-
ance of flowers, 'The one illustra-
tion of this kind being a flower bed
by the side of Mr•, John MoNair's
residence, a beamvtieully colored bed
of Crocuses. -

Following the ceremony the bridal
party returned to the home .of the
bride where a wedding dinner was
served. In :the afternoon the bride
and groom lett on a trip -to Milton
and Georgetown, the bride travel-
ling in a grey tailored suit with rose

will reside on the 6th line of Morris.

held "their meeting in primary room
with president in charge. Meeting
opened with hymn no. 450, after
whiph Jack Spefr read the scripture
and Graeme Work led in prayer.
The secretary's report was read
and adopted. Tom M(cFadzean
gave an interesting talk on "Pres-
byterianism." A hymn was' sung
and meeting closed with repeating
the mizplah benediction. The Mel-

this evening. He succeeds Rev. D.
0, Smiles who. resigned a year ago
and whose plaice was taken 'by a
student preacher, Robert Milroy,
until last Sunday when he deliver-
ed his final message to the con-
gregation,

A sudden shock passed over tithe
community on. Tuesday, April 23rd,
after a short illness of one day al-
though in poor health dor some
years, Naomi Hanna passed away
at the home of Clarence Martin,
The deceased was born on Nov.
24th, 1870, being -the second young.
est daughter of late Hugh and Mrs.
Hanna. She resided there until
fourteen years ago when she went
to make her home 'with Mr, end
Mrs. Clarence Martin on; the 8th
line of Morris. Four sisters are
deceased. Mrs', Wm. Mooney, Mrs.
A. J. Smith, Jane and Elizabeth.
The deceased leaves to mourn
Mrs, Robt. W. Gibson, Kendall,
Sask., and: Margaret, her niece and
family with whom she. resided.
She was a member of the Sun-
shine Methodist Church which later

heart attacks Mrs. Phebe Keifer
retains vitality to a wonderful

sels visited Sunday adternoon of
this week with her daughter Olive

The spring time song of the frogs
is oneof the happy reminders that
spring has come.
A start was made in. spring seed-
ing Monday, April 29ith by practical-

suitable weather continues there
will not be many holidays observed
for the next three weeps or so.
It is expected that Atwood, Brus-
sels and Ethel will be affected in
