ADEBAT many of us take snap- shots indoors at night using flood or flash bulbs and high spee film. Nowadays, such slots re about as easy as daytime pictures outdoors• in fact, anybody arm take them with the most inexpensive box camera just by following simple instructions. However, there's another field for night photography with the new fast films ... briefly, night scenes outdoors, These .can be pictured with any camera that can be set for a "time" exposure, Taking the pictures is simplicity itself. Place the camera on a firm support, such as a tripod box, post, or other solid object. Loan with high speed film, of course, and time the exposure according to the existing light, se follows: When picturing street scones, with street lights of average bright- ness, give a time exposure of 10 to 50 seconds with a box camera, or other Camera at 01 lens opening., if there is snow on the bground, 5 to 1b When picturing illuminated ob- jects—such as an outdoor Chrrstfnas tree, or the decorated doorway above—expose for 10 to 00 seconds with a box camera or at f/11 with the focusing type.
