Cross is .one of the few ways in
which the citizens at home can help
win the -war and all loyal ,persons
are anxious to do their bit In as
large a way as Possible. The
Canadian, Red Cross at !present is
building and organising two large
hospitals in England for the treat-
ment of Canadian casualties in the
war and will require binge sums of
money to finance their activities at
the war front, and for this reason
a nation, Wide appeal is being made.
Most centres in this district have al-
ready reported, that their 'objectives
have been reached. Brussels is a
e little slow in starting but we have
no doubt that we will soon 'pass the
rest.
