'Mrs. Thomson's class stood first in a contest for highest average attendance during the summer month,, attaining 71%. An en- joyable program was presented, after which Mr, and Mrs. Garnise were permuted with two beautiful chairs and the following address was read by Mrs, Jack Bowman: To Mr. and Mrs, M. Garniss. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Garniss•- We have met here tonight, a little group of your friends and ineighlbons to enjoy a few hours with you, on the eve of your departure Ito your new home,. We wish to express our sincere regret that you are leaving our iconimunity for we have found you a good neighbor, always 'willing to hellp in a cheeriful pleasant way.
