Asparagus With Bacon
.Clens asparagus, removing ends,
Place stalks upright ID deep sauce-
pan. Cook in boiling, salted water

Serve with broiled bacon and
Cheese or Hollandaise Soule.
Rhubarb Whip
1ae tablespoon!, gelatin
4 cup cold' water
2 cups that, stewed, sweetened

Soak gelatin, in cold water, Add to
trot rhubarb, .Stir until dissolved and
adds lemon juice, Place in the re-

set. Beat egg whites with salt

ture and continue to beat. Turn
into anolde, and chill or pile into
sherbet ,goastsea, atter chilling,
Serve with mallard sauce made

2 egg yolks.
