their home in Ethel,'

The home was beautifully demo.•
ated with, June flowers also the
tables which were set on the lawn.
The tables were sumptuously set,
and centred with a lovely three-
story bride's cake. The toasts
were madeby Rev. Mr. Williams
and answered by their groomsman
and W. J. Connor of Loudon.
The evening was spent to social

Association decided to change the
day to Wechbee.day for this year, It
will be a basket picnic and all
Huron County old boys and' girls
will be made welcome whether or

Decoration Service
The annual LO,O.F. Decoration
Service was observed by the local
Western Star Lodge and Miro+n
Star Rebekah Lodge on Sunday.
Me'm'bers of the local lodges were
joined by Wetting brethren' from
Listowel, Clifford; Monkton, Blyth,
Wroxeter and Teesevaiter. Itcaded
by the band they marched from the
mile corner to th ecemetery gates
where they -were joined by members
0f the Rebekah order.
Under the direction of Wm. Little
the service was opened by prayer
by Chaplain, IN. Chapman. Names
o2 the deceased' brothers wee read
by R, J. Bowman. The Rebekah
Memorial service was conducted by
Mrs. D. Denman, N. G. and Mrs. 0,
Hemin,gwayS chaplain. The graves
of the deceased 'brothers and
sisters burled do the Brussels
ceeneteiy were decorated with the
tradetionul red geraniums. An ad-
dress was given by C. Matheson
and the service concluded with
prayer by the chaplain. Several
hyenas were sung and much ap-
preciated numbers were contributed
by the band,
he service was largely attended
end, the carefully tended cemetery
was bright with beautiful lowers
placed on mtany, graves, tributes tc
those buried there.

Presbyterian Church
Is Re -Opened
Re -opening of Melville Presbyter-
ian Church took place on Sunday.
The church. was beautifully decorat-
ed far the occasion 'with Rowers,
and a full choir added to the enjoy
went of the ocacsion. The minister,
Rev. S. Kerr took for his morutulr

service a solo was then by William
Spier and two anthems' by the choir,

Anglican church was conducted by
the reeler, Rev. H. J. Hendry, who
spoke on Sacrament end Baptism.

duoted the morning service in the

his home at midnight on Saturday,
Alexander McNeil in his 74th year,

John and Mary McNeil, he Quad lived
all his life in this communrity, He
menried Janet Nichol and lived on

years, later retiring to town. He
leaves to mourn their loss, .his wife
and one son, of Misscommnon, Mich.,
and two daughters, Mrs. Arthur

held Tuesday at 2 o'clock under the

Peter W. Scott, a prominent resi-

was travelling in a southerly direc-
tion and that driven by Cameron
Rlntoui was going easterly along
the 10th con., when the crash occur-
