The six statutory holidays to he observed will be Dominion Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Good Friday. A suggestion has been made that rural mail couriers be paid a Rat rale of $40 per mile per annum for' their services, and a bonus of five cents per mile for equipment allowance in the colder rougher sections of the Donunion.
