of 75,000 to Stratford who raised
their voices in enthusiastic acclaim
of the Royal Couple,

cupied by N. Chapman's harness

A red toy balloon went gaily sail-
ing through th,e air on a 250 -mile
Journey from Flint, Michigan com-
ing to earth on the farm of George
Blake, con. 14, of Grey toumship,
where, it was picked up the other
day by Bill Locking. Inside the
balloon: wad a note with the address,
Danny Gregory, 1737 Arizona, Flint,
Mich, U:S.A. There was also some
writing on the balloon itsee which
\MS not clishinguistable. It was
believed to be the date on which it
was. released, however the balloon
did net appear to have been lying
on Lbs ground for more than a. fey
days. They are going to write to
the address given and the reply will
be awaited with interest.
Home Helpers
Met Friday
The Home Helpers meeting of
Melville. Presbyteelan Church was
held on Friday eeternoont June 2nd
in the ebatrch, with a good attend-
ance. Mrs. H. Parker presiding.
The Scripture reading was given by
Mrs. A. Lamtonit, Mrs. M. Hislop
gave the prayer. The address was
given by , .ere., Rev. Williams :of
Caranhrook, on the work of the
Home Revels also the great need
of earnest prayer. Mrs. J. Meadows
and Mus. W King ,sang a duet

hearty cote of thanks was propos,
ed by Mrs. J. Seeir and seconded by
Mns. J. Bowmen. A dainty lunch

we can safely say ,that practi-
cally the entire population of our
village went and: all who saw "Their
Majesties' were thrilled beyond
description.
London Visit Of

Following the disappointment over
the King's and Queen's visit at
Stratford, some from Brussels de -
