made an appropriate reply. The
lunch settled was generous in
quantity and tasty in quality. The
dance following was pleasantly en-

which is most conveniently situat-

Word was received by Miss Sara
McKinnon, 9th, concession Grey
Towaehdp, from her brother, John,
a well-known, resident of Fort
liam, that his wife Wes . patient
in the MlOKellar Hospital suffering
from burns, about the face and
arms. Their home was amass of
ruins as the result of fire. Both the
building and contents were destroy-
ed and according to Nr. McIlin•
non the loss will exceed 57,000. The
house is only partially covered by
insurance,
