Mrs. Wm, FIum P-hries was in charge of the meeting. Mrs. A. Stafford read the Sc.11'tere Lesson and Rev, M, F Oldham, rector, the prayers, Mrs. A. Ander- son gave the tivaueial report tor the Guild and Mrs. Harry Bolger for the W.A. Both of these organize tions have had a good year and have a good balance to start the new year's work, It was decided to have a Christmas Social for the Sunday school hi the holidays. Au auction sale of various articles was held. The quilt patches with donations were judged by Mrs, M. A. Oldham and Mrs. Jos. Hamilton. Mrs. A, Morrison received the prize for the patches and Miss Exuma Sanderson had the largest donation. The same officers were re-elected for next year. Women's Guild—president, Mrs. Wan. Humphries; sec,-treas., Mrs. Bert Anderson. The W. A,—president, Mrs. Wm Humphries; sec.-treas., Mrs. Harry Bolger. A contest was held and Mrs. M. F. Oldham was the winner The hostess Mrs. M. F. Oldham assisted by Mrs. M. R. Oldham served a tasty supper. A vote of thanks was extended to her for her hospitality. Service in St. George's Church on Sunday, Dec. 10 and 17 at 1:30 p.m. On Dec. 24 Christmas ser- vice will be held at 4 p.rn. and will remain at this hour tor the whiter months, Sunday School will meet on. Dec. 24 at 3:30 p.m. and at that hour henceforth. Munro with the president, Mrs. D. S. McNaughton, in the chair. During the btusiness period it was decided to give two quilts to the local Red Cross in the near future. Mrs, Wylie reported nine boxes had been seat overseas to the boys in the armed forces from this cone annuity, and ditty bags. are being fitted for those in Canada and dis- tant ports. Christmas carols were sung with Mrs, T. N, Allen at the piano. The roll cap was answered by displaying 1050101 Christmas gifts for the hone, Mrs. Walter was in charge of current events. Committees were formed to make up Christmas boxes for the sick and shut-ins. Mrs, ' F, ,Sanderson gave a report on the convention re- cently held in Guelph, to which she was a delegate.
