Mason In Clinton Hospital on Friday evening, May iSth, was a great shock to his neighbors. and friends as he was seri• ously ill for just a day. MMMT. Mason was in his 74th year. Born in Ilnllcttt Township, the family moved -to Morris when he was 9 years old, hut for the past 55 years be- has resided in East Wawanosh. Hie wife was the former Margaret iNicol of ideal Wawanosh, and in July last Year they celebrated their Golden Wedding. He was 0 member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Belgrave. Surviving besides his wife, are two sons and three daughters, Allen of Kitchener; Edwin, at home; (Edna) Mrs. Young, - of Bruesels; (Annie) •Mrs. Henry Armstrong, of Walton and Miss Agnes at hone Two brothers and a sister also survive, William and Alex; of Sea forth, and Mrs. Sohn G. Hilt High Bluff, Man., and eight grandsons, five of whom are in the services: Rev. iSareuel Serr, of Brussels, con- ducted the funeral service at the faanily residence, Lot 99, Concession 7, East Wawanosh, on Monday after- noon.
