Lowrie Returns 'Home From Overseas The gift any mother would most appreciate, dear son hone from the was', brought Mother's Day joy to Mrs. Charles Lowrie, and the whole family, when Private Everett C. Lowrie arrived home unaunonnced after MO and a half years overseas. A veteran of the Sicilian cam- paign, which he carne through with- out a scratch, he was twice wounded in Italy at the battle .af 0rtona, He received a leg wound fleet on Dee. 1.2 'and in January -11, 1941 severe wounds from high explosive. D S. Jamiesarn attended the funeral of his aunt, Miss Marg- aret Jamieson in Toronto on Tues- day.
