to be forwarded to the Mohawk

met at the home of Mrs. W Lethal
with 29 ladies pesent. The meeting
opened with the sliming of the

in Heaven." Mrs. Meining read the
scripture lesson /allowed by the
Lord's prayer in uniena 'Mrs. Bryans
read a report, of the las. meeting.

School Commencement
B.C.S. Commencement was held on
Friday night, November 16 in the
Town Hall. The programme took the
form of a three -act play Aunt, Tillie
Goes to Town," while between the
acts the various Diplomas and
Shields were presented by Mr. D
MacTavish, chairman of the school
board and Rev. Wilson.
A capacity crowd were enthusiastic
in their praise for the play which
was well -directed by Miss Heel]
Cook and Mr. William Blaze, The
stage was tastefully deco_ated and
the players were very suitably made
up to fit their various roles. All
the students who took part deserve
great credit for the performance.

Anglican Parishes
At a recent meeting of the Survey
Committee of the Anglican Diosese
of Huron, held in the Synod office,
London, it was decided to place St.
Alban's Atwood with Christ Church
Listowel and this will come into
effect, when Rev. F. H. Paul, the
new rector -of Listowel assumes his
ditties on Dec. 1st, St. David's,
Henfryn will still continue with
01. John's Brussels end St. George's,
Wagon with the present rector,
Rev, M. F. Oldham th charge, St.
Alban's., Atwood and St David's,
Hentryn which used to have a rector
of thele own were placed in the
Brussels Pariah in December 1941
to meet the problem of the shortage
of clergy during the war years and
the Rev, M 9'. Oldham of Brussels
has looked. atter the 4 congregations.

and 10 miles wide. The new
arrangement necessitates changes in
hour of service. St. Alban's,

For Melbourne Woman
Funeral service was held in Mel-
bourne United Church on ThursdaY
for Mrs. Catherine. Riot:suds, who
died Tuesday at Masao Villa Pri-
vate Hospital. She was the widow
of Edmund Richards, and had been
a lifelong resident of the Melbourne
distriot.
