seared a triumphant win for. the
Progressive Conservative party In
the Huron -Bruce riding in the pro-
vincial .election Monday.
With 6,957 voters marking their
ballots in his favor, Mr, Hanna was
',sanded to the provincial Legis-
lature with a 'lead in 15 'of the 19
munici,pallties of the Huaonel rune
eonetituency.
William J. Mackay, of Huron
Wtew•nship, standard-bearer for the
Liberal party and dormer member
of •the 'Ontario Legislature, was
ruenern.p, polling 4,880 votes. The
C.C.F. candidate, William C. King,
of Morris township, had 1,356
votes.
This meant that Mr. Hanna .se-
cneed a clear majority of 7311 over
both his .opponents. oon9bined.
Mr. Hanna won his largest single
majority In. hie home -town riding.
Winghaan voters cash 853 ballots In

The funeral of Mrs. Annie Men-
zies Engel, wife of the late 'conned

home of her son on Wednesday.
