The couple were unattended. Obituary Mary Lamont There passed away at St. Josepa's Hospital, London, on Tuesday, May 15. 1945, Mary Lamont in her 74th year. She was the daughter of the late Archibald and Euphelnia Lamont and was born on Lot 9, Con. 7, Grey towmhip, Aa a young woman she was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Ethel. For a good many years, she has :made her home in Wingham and Amberley. She .is survived by two brothers, Chanrles of Grey and Archie of Toronto. She was Jredeoeesed by cue sister Katherine and two 'brothers John .and Alen, whose funeral was on the day of her death. Her funeral was held at her old home where flowers 'for her brother were Shared by her. Rev. Hugh Wilson of , Brussels United Church officiated at the service, the bmual taking place at Brussels cemetery. The pallhearers were, Thos, Turn- bull, Wan. Hollinger, Norman Lamont, Alex Yuiili, Wm. Arm strong and David Inglis. James A. McNair A dile-long resident .of Grey Twp, ',James Alexander 1VMNair, psasad awe at his home on Con-, 14, Friday, ,May 18, 1946 in his 66th year, a son of the late Jahn and Margaret Ma Nair he was born Feb. 29th, 1880 on lot 23, con. 14, Grey Twp. Surviving are his wife. the farmer Mary Crerar to whom he .was rnanried in 1906, one'daughter Mrs. Orley Shaw (Margaret) Mt Forrest and -•on *on -Stuart at home -and— sister Mrs. James Hfistop, Arcola, Sank. The late, Mr. McNair was a .memlber of Craubrook Presbyterian Church. Rev, L D. McIver assisted by -Rev. W. A. Williams of Valetta emanated the funeral Monday after. noon May 21 from his late residence. The pallbearers were John Hislop, ,Tohn McNair, Neil McNair, Lynn Evans, Angus Brown and Duncan McTaggart, Interment was made in Brussels cemetery. Allen D. Lamont On Saturday evening, May 12, a ,highly respected 'citizen, Allen D. Lamont, paseed away at his late home, Lot 9, Con, '7, Grey townahip. Although he bad not been in good health -for a number of years, he had been around es usual, holt was seized by a severe heart attack and :suddenly passed away. Ile was the son 'of :the late Archibald and - Ilia iliemia Lamont, being born 72 years ago and epending hisentire life on, tine home farm, Thirty-nine years ago he was married to Margaret Ripley who survives as weTI as two brothers Charles et- Grey and Archie of Toromti, One brother John and ane sister Katherine predeceased 'nim and his -sister Mary passed away on Tuesday, May 15, the day of Allen's funeral, The fnnenal which was largely attended was held from the home on Tuesday, being conducted by Rev Hugh Wilson of Brussels.
