Have You Enrolled
As a Blood Donor?
The day of Victory is not far off—
must amen than needlessly die
because we at home have failed to
provide the blood that would have
meant Lite to them!
Decisive battles are being fought,
battles that mean defeat for our
enemies. and the homecoming of oar
loved ones. These battles, fierce and
costly take a toll of dead and
wounded. If there is life sustaining
blood plasma at hand there will be
fewer dead. It is up to us at home
to enlist as blood donors.
The next clinic will be held in
Brussels on Friday, April 13th. . .
Give your name now to the secre-
tary, Mrs. H. B. Allen. Give That
Someone Else May Live.

or electrify your farm
or modernize
your house
...then have a talk with
your bank manager about
his new powers under the
Farm improvement Loans
Act:
flow often have you said "If I could only raise
the money!" Well, if you could, what would you
do to improve your farm and increase your pro-
duction?
Would you build a modern burn?
or buy new.,machinery?
or modernize your house?
or electrify your farm?
You can raise short term money from your bank;
and long term money from other institutions by
way of mortgage. But there are some things you
would like to do which require loans that are
neither long nor short..
That is where the banks, operating under the
new Farm Improvement Loans Act, can help you.
The gap has"been filled. "Intermediate" loans at
a specially low rate can now be obtained for
periods of two or three years --or even longer, in
cases up to ten years,
So, if you have a project in mind to improve your
farm, drop in and talk it over with your local
bank manager. Ask him what he is now em-
powered to do to help make your farm living more
attractive and your work more profitable.
He will tell you—and show you—that your bank
is just as eager to meet the sound credit needs of
the farrier as of the merchant or manufacturer.
