The regular monthly meeting of
the W.M.S. was held on Marsh 7th
in the home of Mrs. Dan Hustler,
with en attendance of ten ladies.
'l'he president presided at the meet-
ing which was in charge of rhe west
group, hymn 099, 453, ,70 and
768 were sung. Psalm 100 was read
by Mrs, M, Engel and readings were
given by Mrs. Martin McDonald. and
Mrs. C. Onrstead. The eoiri:Laty
read the minutes and called the roll
which was answered by reading
a verse of a favorite hymn. At our
April meeting a short prays• is to
ire given in response. Current
events were read by Mas. H
Hunter, Mrs. John Sohnock and Mrs.
Celia IIuether. An interesting read-
ing. "Hynes That Never Die," was
nead by Mrs. Celia }Mettler. The
meeting closed with the singing of
the National Anthem and the bene-
diction was pronounced by the presi-
dent. A socia.] half hour was enjoy-
ed and lunch was served by the
ladies in change.
The sum of $25.20 was realized
from the euchre and dance in the
Cranbrook hall on Friday evening,
March 9, minter :the auspices of the
:oval L'am'p of thue Red Croer . There
were thirteen tables sof euchre ata]
high scores were held by Mrs.
Lyle Clemson and Toni Pennington
and consolation prizes went to Mrs.
Jim Cameron and Glenn }Mettler.
Coffee and sandwiches were served
and music for dancing was supplied
by Stuart McNair, Wm, McNair and
and Mfrs. Cliff Iierniaghaa, with
Robt. C. Campbell calling off.
Tickets are being sold on -a
reversible wool tug and the draw
will take place in the near future.

The Y,P;S, held their regular
meeting un Monday evening, March
, 12 in the church basement. There
was an ,attend once of 27, with Rev.
1, D. McIver presiding. It was voted
to mike a donation of $10 to the ,
Smart Henry fund and plans, were

on Tuesday evening, March 20,
