The choir in the 'United Church in
the morning was .augmented by a
young ladies' sextette which came
from Miss Dorothy Wright's school,
S.S. uo. 9, McKillop. Three delightful
numbers were added by thess young
ladles to the ministry of praise. The
minister's subject in the morning
was "Simon the Cross -bearer" and in
the evening, "Divine Compulsion".
Miss Jean S•peirau and Mr, Clifford
I3uschliu took the duet part of the
evening Anthem.
011 Sunday, April 11, the services
in Melville Presbyterian . Church,
Brussels, were in charge of the
minister. At the morning service
Mr. Kerr preached on the fourth
word front the Cross, which express-
es the deep spiritual anguish through
which the Saviour passed. An
anthem, "Just as I am," by Bowies,
was rendered by the choir. At the
evening service the sermon subject
was the fifth word from. the Cross,
that speaks of the physical suffering
endured by the Saviour. The An-
them rendered' by' the choir was
from Stainer's Crucifixion, ''God so
Loved the World".
