will be in keeping with the Christ-
mas season.
Annual Meeting of St. George's,
Walton, Women's Guild and
Women's Auxiliary
The annual meeting of the Wo-
men's Guild and Women's Auxiliary
of St. George's church, Walton was
held at the home of the president,
Mrs. Wm. Humphries on Thursday,
December 10th. The meeting open-
ed with the Christmas Hymn "O
Dome All Ye Faithful" followed by
the Scripture Lesson and Prayer by
the Rector, Rev. M F. Oldham. Mrs.
Wm. Humphrey, president; was in
charge of the meeting. The treas-
urer's report was given for the
Women's Guild by Mrs. Bert Ander-
son and for the W.A. by Mrs. Harry
Bolger. Both organizations have
had a succeaful year. The Copper
choir and church school on Friday
night, Dec. 114.1) with a good attend-
ance. Those taking special parts
were two readers, 13111 Wilson and
Jack Bryans; three travellers, Alvin
McDonald, Douglas Fraser and
Gerald Watson; Mary, "the mother
or Jesus," Miss Dorothy Turnbull;
two angels, IOlva 'Sholdice and
Leona Watson; two stars, Doreen
Coutts and ,Shirley Bennett; lost
child, Leona Johnston; soloists, Mrs.
Herbert Traviss, Miss Dorothy
Turnbull and Helen Johnston• reci-
tation, Isabel Davidson. The can-
tata was directed by Mrs, Brown,
pianist; Rev. Gordon Hazelwood and
Mr. 'Clarence Grainger.It will be
presented again, by request, next
Sunday night, in the church at
