For Farmers
A resolution asking that long
Postponements from military service
be granted farmers so they can Plan
their year's work on the farm was
contained in the agricultural com-
mittee report and approved by the
county council. The resolution read
as follows: "Whereas the pre -
sent
system of granting postponement of
call for military training, though
greatly valued and appreciated by
farmers, does not endour•age those
who are the only capable male op-
erators to plan and conduct their
farm production program with any
assurance that they will be allowed
to continue for more than a few
months at a time; And 'whereas

be sent to Hon. J. G. Gardiner, min-
ister of agriculture and Hon. J. L.
Tballs,tonminister of militia, and to
other county counoits for their en-
dorsements.

Commencing Saturday, October 31st, Delivery of Milk
will be made in the afternoon each clay except Sunday
between the hours of 12 noon and 5 P.M. during the winter
months.
There will NOT be any delivery on Sundays.
Get extra Milk and Cream on Friday Morning to do
you until Saturday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon get
enough Milk and Cream to do you until Monday afternoon.
Your kind co-operation in helping us make this change
