Donations Gratefully Received
For Bingo Next Saturday Night
The anxiety shown by a number of
residents of the Townships of Grey
and Morris as well as the village of
Brussels, by patronizing the dance,
sponsored by the Legion and the
Bingos, all of which proceeds are to
be used to send parcels to the boys
overseas who enlisted tram the three
munioipanities, has been very
gratifying,
Many are of Me opinion that we
who are still at home enjoying more
comforts and other things, it is little
we can do by helping, in these small
ways, to help raise fund's to make it
possible to sent, them something
tram, home.
This week some people have offer-
ed to help in a different way, by
donating prizes for the. Bingo game
which will be held this coming
Saturday night to the store recently
vacated by The (Radio Shop. The
Bingo room will be heated, so
here is an invitation to drop inand
havee a game while you are in town
Saturday night doing your shopping.
Ladies can play as well as men,
and there will be good prizes for bhe
yoking Talks. The prizes already
donated so far are Gladioli Bulbs,
a basket of apples and a 1 -year
subscription the The Brussels Post,
as well as others from which to
choose and many will snake good
Christmas gifts. This will be a good
chance to get yours, dor only 5s.
There have been different ones
helping during the past weeks in
d'idlereut ways, but as it is all to go
for the one purpose, to try and keep
something going to our boys over-
seas Zoom home as often al possible.
The Bingo this week will be sponsor-
ed by the Fish and Game Club. If
any others wish to donate prizes
they will be greatly appreciated,
Phone 31. for information or bring
then In through the week and leave
then at the Bingo room. A man
with the key may be obtained at the
Brussels Post. A list of the donations
and diem's will appear in ,next
week's issue.
