CRASH NEAR BLYTH
A horse was badly tneured in an
accident that ocoured early last
T.hnrsta,Y evening on Highway No. 4,
one mile north. of Blyth. Charles
Coultes, Belgrale was driving nottth
about 5:15 o'clock When he collided
with a wagon and a team of horses,
driven by Tony Wiekoweki, a farmer
on con. 7, Morris township, Mr. Wie-
kowski was returning home from
Blyth with a load of chopped grain.
Mr. Coultes was meeting another
car, going in the opposite direction,
driven by Mrs. G. Haynes, who re-
sides on a farm near Blyth, and
failed to notice the wagon in the
dusk of early evening. The Ootiltes
car was damagedto some extent;
and one of the horses driven by Mr.
Wieckowski was severely injured
and may have to he destroyed. A
velterinary ?nom Blyth was called

viving member of the fainly of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Martin of
Ilulltstt Township. Oa June 9, 1897,
be was married to Jane Reid of Han
lock, who predeceased him six
years ago. Following their marriage
they fanned a short time in Hallett.
then moved to Morris, where
they resided until moving to Brus-
els In 1937.
Surviving are four sons, Clarence
and George of .Morris, Ernest of
Grey and Edwin of Brussels. One
sun Earl died in in5ancy, There are
also five gnandcitildh'en and ,two
great grandchildren.
The Funeral was held on Monday.
