BIG TANKER READY TO CARRY ALBERTA O L
The world's largest freshwater
tanker, and the first ship to carry
Alaertlt crude oil to Ontario, the
15,800 -ton "Imperial Leduc" ,is
shown as she successfully passed
her running trials in Georgian
developed a speed of
mare than 14 knots—about 16
nil per hour. The 620 -foot ship

Sarnia. She will make a round
trip every five days and is ex-
pected to carry about 175 million
gallons of •Alberta oil in a season
—4 million gallons on each trip.
Built at Collingwood Shipyards,
she was launched last November
and outfitted during the winter.
A sister ship, "Imperial Red -
water", was built at Port Arthur
and will undergo trials in May.
Both are fitted with the latest in
navigation aids. The crews of 36
men each have excellent quarters,
with not more than two men to a
cabin, and recreation rooms for
officers and men. There arel5bath-
rooms with showers in each ship.

FOR WEDDING TRIP
An interesting evening ceoemony
in St. David's United Church, Tor-
onto, on Friday, was the marriage
of Mary Alice Elizabeth Mustard,
Reg. N., daughter of Rev. C. A,
Mustard D.D., and Mrs. Mustard,
Toronto, to Mr, Ronald Harold Love,
son of Mr. and Mrs, Harold Love,
122 Mornington St,, Stratford. The
bride's father officiated. Dr, R. A.
Mustard gave his sister in marriage,
She wore a blush pink brocaded
satin .gown with net yolre and long
train. A matching headdress held
her short veil, and she carried a
white Bible adorned witch pink
orchitis. Mrs. Robert .Stebbins, l3en-
gough. Sas., wee matron of ;honor,
wearing ice blue satin, and the bride-
smatis, Miss Grace Cockburn, St.
Catharines. and Miss Evelyn McVey
chose gowns of darker blue satin. All
attendants wore matching head-
dresses and lace mitts, and carried
cascade of spring flowers. The
flower girl was Janette. Marie Mus-
tard, Satd:bnry, niece of the bride
['reeked in pini. satin with a hat of
pink .roses. She carried a small
basket of spring flowers. Mrs. Mer-
lin Love, Stnatforcl, was best man
for his brother, and the ushers were
Mr. Donald Parr. Toronto, and Mr.
Thnelao Mustard. Sndhury, brother
of the bride. A reception foilowed
in the aural, parlor's, and later the
bride and bridegroom lett for New
York. They will live in Toronto.

It was with deepiest regret neigh -
bows, and friends in Morris and
Brussels locality, learned' of bhe
passing on March 28th, 1951, ,at her
home in Saskatoon of Sarah Alida
Reid, beloved wife of Walter Tames
Longman also a one time resident of
the sante locality, The Longman
home', property, on the 4th of Grey

Mrs. Walter Longman was the
eldest daughter of the late Adana
and Tsailel Franck Reid and af£tct-
innately remembered among her
ninny friends here as "Sazie."
