Humphi- ries, well known storekeeper of Wal- ton occured snddenla last Tuesday. He had gone to the store as usual Tuesday morning but became 111 while there and passed away about 1.15 that afternoon. He was a life long resident of Walton, a son of the late William Humphries. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Bolton, and two sons and a daughter, Stewart and William of Walton and 11frs. Horace Rutledge (Mary] of London; also a brother. Robert of New York, N. Y., and. a sister in British Columbia; and by three grandcthideer. The funeral took place on Friday, '(?arch 2 at 2 p. m. from his. late residence to Brussels Cemetery.
