Miss Mary A. Smillte
A funeral service for Miss Mary
Smillie was 11e1d at Duff's United
Church, Walton, Saturday, Miss
.Smillie lead gone to Ibe home of
her nephww, Joseph Taylor, the
12th concession of Fullerton town-
ship, about one month ago, to
spend the remainder of the winter
months. She became ill about two .
weeps ago and died Thursday. Miss
Smillie was a member of Duff's
United Church in Walton, serving
as treasurer of the congregation
for more than 40 years, •She is
survived by nieces and nephews.
Miss Smillie was born near Walton
and had spent most of her life in
Grey Township, The body rested at
the L. A. Bail Funeral Chapel, in
St, Marys, until the removal to
Walton, Saturday. where the ser-
vice was held in the United Church
Rev, Gordon Hazlewood, Welton,
officiated. Pallbearers at the ser-
viee ware Roy Bennett, Will Ben-
nett, Harold Sellers, Harry Bolger,
Donald Bnohanan, and Harvey
Craig. interment was in Brussels
Cemetery.
