when twenty of the original wedding

the happy couple.

was held by the W. A. ladies of the
church, when many friends and
former parishioners called, hiss
Agnes Lane and Miss Elizabeth
Myers attended the rionr. Wo lc'oming
the guests were Mrs. Agnes Brown
and Mrs, Jas, Rryans. Mr. anil Mrs.
Lane received, the latter wearing a
becoming gown of raspherey shade
with gardenia rnrsa.ge. Inviting the
guests to the tea room were Mrs.
R. F. Downing and Mrs. Lorne Nichol,
Mrs. R. ,T. McLauchlin and MISS 9iliz-
abeth Downing pouring tea; while
later Mrs. A. . Cousins and Mrs.
Stanley Wheeler presided. The tea -
table was pretty with a lace cloth.

Prayer by Dorothy Armstrong. Hymn

gave a most interesting and detailed
account of the book of Ezekiel. The
Scripture reading was Psalm 100 re-
peated in unison. This part 0t the
meeting elesr,l with hymn 720. Mrs.
E. Rredin favoured the hides with
the song, "Mother Meares." Mrs,
Rill Martin, :le treasurer reported a
halftime on hand of *013,67. Mrs,
Martin was named as head convenor
for the Y. P. P. dinner to be served
en Oct. 1.1, to be assisted by Mrs.
Sweeny end Mrs. H. Cardiff. Mrs, G.
Galbraith as cotwenor for the com-
piling of the Guild's recipe book re-
ceived Many recipes from the mem-
hers, and work will begin en this
