A wedding dinner wns served to the immediate family at 12.30 noon when twenty of the original wedding Party gathered together to honour the happy couple. During the evening opeu house was held by the W. A. ladies of the church, when many friends and former parishioners called, hiss Agnes Lane and Miss Elizabeth Myers attended the rionr. Wo lc'oming the guests were Mrs. Agnes Brown and Mrs, Jas, Rryans. Mr. anil Mrs. Lane received, the latter wearing a becoming gown of raspherey shade with gardenia rnrsa.ge. Inviting the guests to the tea room were Mrs. R. F. Downing and Mrs. Lorne Nichol, Mrs. R. ,T. McLauchlin and MISS 9iliz- abeth Downing pouring tea; while later Mrs. A. . Cousins and Mrs. Stanley Wheeler presided. The tea - table was pretty with a lace cloth. 71 was centered with a low bowl at burgunly dahlias; pink cosmos and white anemone and flankea ny lighted mulberry tapers in silver holders. Mrs. R. 11.
