Dr. C. H. MacDonald offered
prayer and spoke on the theme,
based on Matthew 16-8, "I say also
unto thee, that thou art Peter, and
upon this rock I will build nay
church;' The choir sang a suitable
anthem. The sacrament of the
Lord's sapper will be observed on
Oct, Rth.
Rally Day Services
The Sunday School superintend-
ent, Pearl Hamilton, had charge of
the Rally Day service in the United
Church, and was assisted by several
of the scholars giving readings.
Rev, rt, A. Brook spoke on the
topic, 'Tor the Healing of the Na-
tion." During the service Margaret
Ruth and Glen Rae. children of
Mir. and Mrs. Charles Mothers were
ha.ptized.
The Triple group of the Ladies'
Aid met in the Sunday School room
of the church. Mrs. Raymond Elliott
