MORRIS
Robert Cockerline celebrated his
95th birthday quietly at the home
of his only son Williams Cockerline
and Mrs, Cockerline on Saturday,
May 13th. Ninth concession of Mor-
ris township, a mile and a half
east of Blyth. The farm is the
Cockerline homestead,
Mr. Cockerline farmed for many
yearns when his son took over the
homestead he moved with his wife
to Blyth, where he was a partner
with the late David Floody in a
planing mill and lumber yard busi-
ness. Tor some years he engaged
In carpenter work. It was while
he was living in Blyth that his
wife, the former Janet Scott, died
17 yearns ago.
Mr. Cockerline has since made
his home with his fancily of one
son, William Cockerline and one
daughter, Mrs, George (Bessie)
Pollard, J uliett township. He
takes a great interest in commun.
