The Voice Of Temperance --
When Prime Minister Nehru visit-
ed Washington the Indian Embassy
broke an old tradition. Instead of ser-
ving liquor to its guests it served
fruit juices and dates. It's about time
that some challenged the tyranny
that alcohol has imposed on. society.
intoxicating beverages have demoral-
ized too many social gatherings
turning them into load and loose
drinking sprees, It would go a long
way towards the solving of the pro-
blem of alcoholism if all social
gatherings in high places were non
alcoholic.

The theft of the money from the

Saturday morning. Mr. Doll investi-
sealed when he discovered that the
keys of the business office were
missing from his pocket, also mis-
sine were his cigarettes, lighter and

from the Home of Mr. Doll earlier in
the night, for there was no sign of
forcible entry.
The investigation is being conduct-
ed by Provincial Constables Helmer
