the marriage of Audrey, daughter of
Charles R. Davidson and the late
Mrs. Davidson of Brussels, to Floyd
Flewelling, son of Mr, and Mrs. E.
Flewelling of Fergus. The wedding
was performed on Saturday, Feb, 4th
et 2,30 p. m. by the Rev, Mr, Ashton,
The bride, given in marriage by
her, father, was gowned in floor
lrnelth brocaded satin with fitted
bodice., fingertip sleeves and sweet-
heart neckline. The skirt extended
into a short train. Hr veil, caught
at the head with white Poses, fell be-
yond the train of her 'dress, She
wore a three strand pearl necklace.
FT'r flowers were a sheaf of red
roses.
Mrs. L. E. McCauley, was her sis-
ter's matron, of honour. Her dress
of yellow taffeta hacl a fitted' bodice
and gatliei'ed skirt, with matching
headress and gloves. She carried a
nosegay of daffodils and carnations,
The bridesmaid, Mrs. Cleve Davidson,
sister -lin -law of the bride, wore an
identical gown in mauve.
Mise ,Indy McNamara niece of the
groom wore blue net over taffeta.. with
matching headresa, ,She carried a
basket M. roses, carnation and 'daf-
fodils,
Master Kevin McCtuley nephew of
the brtde, in white flannels, and blue
blazer, was ring hearer.
Mr, 17ar1 Flewelling Kitchener,
was his brother's groomsmran.
Ushers were Messrs, Calvin Dav-
idson. brother of the bride, and Harold
Johnston brother-in-law of the groom,
The wedding music was played by
Mr, Pratt, Fergus, Mrs. Gemmell,'
Fergus. sang "Because."
Following the ceremony a reception
was held in the church parlour, The
bride's table was centred with a
three tier wedding cake on pink tulle.
Pink and white ribbons, with match-
ing candles, and silver dishes were
used. Tho dinner was served to
thirty five guests by ladles of the
church.
Guests were reowived by the brides
grandmother, Mrs, T. O. Davidson of
Brussels, stressed in black crepe. Her
corsage was red roses, The groom's
chose a dress of teal with a corsage
of red roses,
For a wedding trip to Niagara Palls
and Buffalo the bride wore a muskrat
coat over a green taffeta dress. Her
accessories were green with a corsage
of red roses.
Mr. and Mrs, Flewelling will live
in Fergus,
Gut of town guests present at the
wedding were from; Brussels, Elora,
Guelph, St, Mary's, Toronto, Waterloo,
Kitchener and Clinton.

The regular, meeting of the W.M.S.
was hell in the church basement on
Feb. 8th- Mre. J. McDonald pre-
sided for the meeting. The meet-
ing opened with the theme, "The
Church the Household of Faith'
The secretary's report was read and
adopted. Mrs. A. Coutts gave the
treasurer's report in the absence of
the treasurer, Mrs, N. Reid. Plana
were made concerning the Easter
Thank Offering meeting, also for the
World Day of Prayer Program, Mrs.
A Coutts leader of the McKillop
group, then had charge of the meet-
ing. During the worship service
Me was assisted -by Mrs. J. McDonald
and Mrs. D. Watson. Chapter 5, of
Growing with the years, was used for
the program. She was assisted by
Mrs. Fox, Mrs. C. W ey, Mrs, Schede,
Mrs. D. Watson and Mrs. G. Mc -
Gavin. Hymn 878 was sung. The
meeting closed with prayer by the
Leader,
The February meeting of the
Women's Association of Walston
United Church was held in the ohurch
with the President presiding. Mrs.
W, J. Bennett opened the meeting
with prayer. The secretary report
was given by Mrs, Silas Johnston
and the treasurer's report was given
by Mrs. Caatts in the absence of the
treasurer Mrs, R. McMichael. Sev-
eral
everal items of business• was taken up
and motion passed. Plans were made
to have a St. Patrick social in the
church and to bring in a play at a
later date. The meeting closed by
repeating the Mizpah benediction.
