HURON COUNTY FEDERATION
OF AGRICULTURE
The annual meeting or the Ontario
Fderation .of Agriculture. that was
held in the King Edward 'Hotel, Tor-
onto was even attended by members
of Huron ' County Federation, It
wins a 1 very inspiring meeting with
many resolutions being presented
and accepted by the voting delegates,
The most interesting resolution
from the standpoint of Huron County
Delegatds dealt with ,Price support
for farm produce,
During - the Ontario Federation
or Agriculture annual Meeting a fact
was placed "before the Delegates that
the Poultry Producers have no or-
ganization to represent them similar
to the hog Producers or the Cream
Producers. It was' agreed that
something should be -done iramedf-
ately toward organizing the Poultry
Producers of Ontario. Poultry Farm-
ers or Huron should prepare them-
selves to support this organization.
It may be too 'late to aid much in the
present financial disaster, but !E
we had had such au organization pre-
vious to the loss of the British Mar-
ket, we could have brought Pres-
sure to hear on the Government to
find new markets and give us a
satisfactory floor Price, so we •would
not have to operate our Poetry flocks
at a loss.

The Voice Of Temperance
Chief Justice J. D. McRuer has
given it as his judgement that
"Liquor is at the root of most of
the cases of homicide coining before
the courts, and in some large meas-
ure responsible for the too frequent
attacks on Women and girls and
other serious crimes, Liquor and
broken 1103005, are the two great
forces for crime in our community,"
The judgment . of the chief justice
should be enough to deter any com-
munity from opening np, or increasing
its liquor outlets. The more liquor—
the more crime,
