Stewart Procter, well-known farmer
of the 4th line of Morris, near
Belgrave, had his leg broken in
three places while was working in
the bush. His two sons, Roes and
Charles, and, his brother Harold
Procter were with him at the time
and had him moved to the Wingharn
hospital.
Mrs. George Jordon, Belgrave,
was severely burned about the face
and arms while attending the fur-
nace in her home.

wood. Mrs. Wm. Carnochan (Cath-
arine Dukelow) died last P'riday,
In her 34th year. A daughter of the
late Margaret Groves and John Duke -
low, alie was born Nov. 1, 1866 In
the Township of Grey. After their
marriage on Nov. 9, 1392, they re-
sided in Grey Twp., until moving to
Linwood 50 years ago.
Besides her husband she is sur-
vived by one son Ilarl of Kitchener.

Tuesday, Dec, 27th was an especial-
ly happy day in the lives of Mr. and
Mrs. Harry A. Keyes of Brussels,
when they and their family and a
host of friends celebrated Mr. and
Mrs. Keys' golden wedding anniver-
sary at their home here. ,
' On 'Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1839, Rev.
D. 13. McRae of Knox Church, Cran-
e:I-Ink, united in marriage Harry
A. Keys, son of Mr, and Mre. Henry
Keys, to Elizabeth Fulton, daught-
er of Mr. and Mrs. James Fulton,
all of Grey township. Mr. McRae
bad also baptized the bride. Pot -
lowing their marriage, they lived
for a short time on lot 16, con. 8,
of Grey township, then for a time
on lot 20. A few years later, Mr.
Keys answered the call or the west,
and. • leaving his family in Brussels,
be homesteaded in the west for a
time. Returning, he spent a year
in Brussels, then moved to lot 18,
con. 12, Grey, where they lived, for
20 years, One year ago they retired
.nd now live in a comfortable
home in Brussels, Staunch Presby-
terians, they were for a long time
members of Knox .Church. Cran-
brook, and are now members of
Melville Church here.
Among those celebrating with
them Tuesday were their three
children. Harold Grey township;
James, McKillop township; and
Mrs. Alvin (Edith) Pride, Water-
loo; and the bridesmaid who had

He was a school trustee for section
7 of Grey, the Cranbrook school
area. He was formerly a member

Mr, Keys' family consisted of two
brothers and one sister, Prank,
Mileetone. Seale; George, Galt; and
Mrs, Mary Speiran, Brussels, Mrs,

and, Mrs. Mary Moir, Detroit. Mr
Trulton and Mrs. Moir were here
for the celebration.
Mr. and Mrs. Keys are in perfect
health and enjoyed every minute

moon included a trip by horse and
cutter to Ethel station from whence
they went by train to Toronto and
Maple, row of the 30 guests who
were present at the wedding are
now living. Mr, and Mrs. Keys were

and ,many gifts and cards from
friends near and far. The Post and
