The morning anthem was "Crusaders for Christ," by Nayior, The solo parts were taken by Mrs. W. Edgar and Miss June Work. At the evening service Mr. Milne preached on the text "Ye are the salt of the earth." The United Church The sermon at morning worship in The United Church on Oct. G was "The Centrality of Jesus" in which the minister drew attention to the central place of Jesus in the scheme of things both in the life of the individual and in society, In the evening the series, "Night Scenes in the Bible" was continued, the subject being "A Night of Revelry" an account of the eclipse of the Baby- Ionian abyIonian regime. Mrs. Bryans conducted a "Can You Name It Contest' 'and then a delicious lunch was served by some of the Iadies in charge. Our Christmas Time meeting will be on Tuesday, December 6th at the church.
