What could have been a good
game and an education In good
soccer to the Huron County fans
was spoiled by themselves, their
players and their referee. It is tt,
be hoped that the league executive
will hold a full investigation into
Saturday's game. This kind of
play and playing conditions have
to be stopped or some player will
be seriously hurt. The Stratford
players are not greatly affected
by their defeat. It was the way
that it was handed out to thein,

\'o. 1 school, Grey on Thursday l.m.,
July 14th. In spite of the inclement
weather there was a good number
of members and. their families to
enjoy the afternoon. Mrs. Doug.
Hemingway opened the meeting by
the singing of the Opening Oda and
the repeating of the Institute Creed.
Mrs. Wm. Miller gave fin interesting
report of the District Annual held
in Fordrwich. The guest speaker,
Mrs, McKenney, Wroxeter who Is
the president of the East Huron
District was then called on. She
asked that all letters sent out from
the Department be read in our
branches and the contents con-
sidered and that we should con-
tribute to the Scholarship Fund,
She then gave an interesting and
thoughtful talk on the "Youth
Problem" which is really an "Adult
Problem, Youth has to contend
with the conditions prepared and
made by adults. She also gave a
humorous reading. Mrs. Sburrle
presented Mrs, McKinney with a
corsage of sweet peas as a slight
token of our appreciation.
Sharon Hemingway pleased the
audience with a song "Three Blind
Mice."
The committee in charge of the
program then conducted games and
contests for all, everyone joined In
the fun. Races for the children
were run off outside. A bountiful
lunch was enjoyed by all present.
There will he no August meeting
in the library but we will be the
greets of the Belgrave Institute on
Tuesday, August 16th,
