Tt is a symbol of the gond news of ,Jesus Christ to be shared with others. The congre- gation was urged to wear the Cross of Jesus Christ close to their hearts. It should mean, love, joy, peace, gentleness, good temper, kindness anti self control, fruits of the Holy Spirit. These things should be very evident in the daily lite of those newly confirmed, The Bishop's Staff is a shepherd's staff.. We should all be ehepheards involved in the great- est work God has given to man. All should join in missionary work to keep peace which hangs on the slenderest of threads. unless Christ- ian people clo more than they leave. All should be builders in the King- dom of God. In conclusion the Bishop spoke to the parents of those confirmed requeeting them to preach a sermon without words—give them faithful example—don't sent, bring them. to God's hoops and 'steel with them et the Lord's 'Table, That children' rejoice to follow in the footsteps of faithful parents, Tf parents do this he said, they will have no need to worry about their children.
