He was born 68 years ago in Chatham. Ont., and educated at Woodstock College and McMaster 'University, A minister for 43 years, he held pastoractes in Guelph, Toronto and Moose Jaw before coming to B.O. Surviving are his wife; May at Qualiemn; two sons, Lieuten ant-Comander John Ross Hind of Qualdcunn and Rev. Inn Hind of Regina: and a daughter, Mrs. W. M Smith of Williams Lake, Dr. J, L, Sloat anointed at the service today in Chapman Fu neral Home, Vancouver. Com mital service will be held at the graveside at (Menem at 2 p.m Wednesday, Westwood Hirst Pu neral Home has charge. Mr, Hind had also acted as Presi dent of the Sask., and the B.0 Baptist Conventions. His wife is a daughter of the late Geo. A. Dead man of Brussels.
