The annual meeting of the 17thel'
United O1un'clh was held on Friday
evening, February lith. At 0;80 the
congregation eat down to a delicious
banquet prepared by the Women's
Associations. The room and tables
were tastefully decorated in keeping
with Valentine day. Decoration was
done under the supeneeion of Mrs,
Chester Earl. After the (limier
was enjoyed Rev. Wilson took charge
of the annual reports and a short
prrrgram, The congregation joined it,
singing the hymn "Clone Let Us
Sing of a Wonderful Love."

Tt is our usual custom to honour
those who have served in our Chrnch
and in our community on their de.

On rate occasions such as this we
recognize the serviees of persons
who are not leaving no.
Both of your have served in our
Church since your childhood, as
have your parents before you. You
have been active in the S. S. as
teach -err, iSktperintenndent. pianist.
Yon have been faithful members or
she choir, with all the driving and
practising that, that entails for a
great ninny years.
You have served as well in other
capaetittes in the Church, You have
given of your time and' talents un-
stintingly. You have had the cour-
age to speak out for what you be-
lieved was right. We have felt that
your influeence was for he good.
As members and adherents of this
Church, therefore we are glad to
show our respect and esteem for you
in the presentation of these gifts,
We are not overlooking the fact,
however, that you are both still in
your prime, and so we expect you
to continue the good work for a long
time yet.
